Our actual hourly rates, published, so you can decide whether to call before you pick up the phone. For businesses across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs and Naples. No mystery pricing, no discovery call required to find out a number.
Search for computer repair pricing in Fort Myers and you will mostly find contact forms. The standard practice in this industry is to make you call, describe your problem, and sit through a conversation before anyone will say a number. We understand why — every job is different and nobody wants to be held to a figure that didn’t fit — but it wastes your time and ours when the rate was never going to work for you anyway.
So here it is. These are our real rates. They apply to businesses calling us for one-time work: a repair, a project, a problem that needs solving. If you end up on a monthly agreement the structure changes entirely, and we explain that further down.
Hourly labor. Hardware, parts and software licenses are quoted separately.
| Service | Rate | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| On-site — first hourAt your office, during normal business hours | $150 | 1 hour |
| On-site — each hour afterSame visit, continuing work | $125/hr | — |
| Remote supportSecure remote session, no travel | $125/hr | 1 hour |
| After hours & weekendsTreated as an emergency call | $175/hr | 2 hours |
| Managed IT agreementOngoing support and monitoring | Flat monthly | No per-incident billing |
Remote is the cheapest way to work with us. There is no first-hour premium on remote support, so at $125 an hour it undercuts an on-site visit outright. It is also usually the fastest — nobody is driving anywhere — and a large share of software, settings, email and “this is behaving strangely” problems get solved that way. If your issue might be remote-fixable, start there. We will tell you honestly when it isn’t.
The first hour on-site costs more because the first hour is the hard one. That’s the drive, the walk-through, and the diagnosis — the part where the actual cause gets identified rather than guessed at. Once we’re there and know what we’re dealing with, continuing work drops to $125.
Minimums exist so short calls are worth making. One-hour minimum on standard work, two hours on emergency calls. If a job takes twenty minutes you are still billed the hour — which sounds unfair until you consider the alternative, which is us being reluctant to take small jobs at all.
After-hours means outside normal business hours or on a weekend. That work runs at $175 an hour with a two-hour minimum because it is genuinely an emergency call-out. For a business that cannot open Monday morning without a working system, it is usually money well spent. If you would rather not be in that position at all, that is precisely what monitoring under a monthly agreement is for.
You get a price before work starts. These rates tell you what an hour costs; they don’t tell you how many hours a job takes. That estimate comes after we know what’s wrong, and it doesn’t change without your say-so. Nobody gets a surprise invoice.
Hourly billing is honest but it has an awkward side effect: it puts a price on asking for help. Businesses paying by the hour tend to sit on small problems, batch them up, and only call when something has become genuinely painful. That is the expensive way to run technology, because most disasters started as something small that nobody wanted to spend an hour on.
The arithmetic is worth doing yourself. If you are calling us several times a month, or if any given month could bring a bill you didn’t plan for, a managed IT agreement is usually both cheaper and calmer — a flat monthly fee, no per-incident billing, and around-the-clock monitoring that catches failures before they become an emergency call at $175 an hour. If you call us twice a year, hourly is the right answer and we will say so.
We are not trying to push everyone onto a contract. Plenty of clients have been calling us for one-off work for years and that arrangement suits them fine. But if you are spending real money on reactive repairs, it is worth ten minutes to compare.
Yes — one hour on standard on-site and remote work, and two hours on after-hours or weekend emergency calls. Time beyond the minimum is billed hourly.
Yes. Remote is $125 an hour with no first-hour premium, so it costs less than the $150 first hour on-site. It is also normally quicker to start, since there’s no travel involved. When a problem can be handled remotely, that’s the option we recommend.
Anything outside normal business hours, plus weekends. Those are handled as emergency calls at $175 an hour with a two-hour minimum.
No — these are labor rates. Hardware, replacement parts and software licensing are quoted separately, and you see those costs before anything is ordered.
No. Managed clients pay a flat monthly fee that covers ongoing support and monitoring, with no per-incident billing. That’s the point of the arrangement — predictable cost, and no hesitation about calling.
Not at all. One-time work at the hourly rates above is completely normal and a large part of what we do. Monthly agreements exist for businesses that want them, not as a gate.
No — HenkTek works with business clients only. If you need a personal machine looked at, a consumer repair shop is a better fit than us.
They’re what we charge as of now. Rates can change over time, so if you are reading this well after publication, confirm when you call — but we will always tell you the number before any work begins.
Tell us what’s going on and we’ll tell you what it takes to fix and roughly how long. Same business day response — Fort Myers and all of Southwest Florida, businesses only.
