Heads up: some links here are affiliate links. If you buy through them HenkTek earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Prices below were checked on September 29, 2026 and again on October 6, 2026, the first morning of the sale.
Amazon’s second Prime sale of the year, Prime Big Deal Days, runs October 6 and 7, starting at 3:01 a.m. Eastern (Amazon confirmed the dates this month). Most of the ads will be TVs and air fryers. The Prime Day office IT deals are harder to find, and they’re the ones that save a Fort Myers office real money, because you’re usually buying two or five of something instead of one.
October 6 update: I rechecked every price this morning. The best real drops so far are the Synology DS225+ (down $54.75 to $310.24), the Mobile Pixels Duex Plus (down $27.72 to $158.39) and the Bitdefender single device license (down $4.50 to $25.49, small in dollars but about 15% off). Most of the rest haven’t moved at all, the Fellowes shredder actually went up a few dollars, and the EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus has no Amazon buy box right now, so I pulled its button.
Sale runs October 6 and 7. If you already know what you are after, go straight to it:
Security keys and endpoint protection · Backup and storage · Power · Desks and the meeting room · Shredders
Every pick is gear we have already written about on this site. The last section covers what I would skip, even at 60 percent off.
So here’s the list I’d watch. Everything on it is gear we’ve already written about on this site, and next to each one is the price Amazon showed on September 29 and the price on October 6, the first day of the sale. That number is the point. A “deal” that shaves $4 off a price that jumped $40 last week isn’t a deal, and without a baseline you can’t tell.
How to spot real Prime Day office IT deals
Ignore the crossed out “List Price.” Amazon shows a list price on a lot of these that nobody has paid in months (a Govee temperature sensor we priced last week lists at $69.99 and sells for $32.29 every day). Compare against the September 29 price below instead. If the sale price isn’t at least 10 to 15% under that, you can wait for Black Friday and lose nothing.
Two other things. Most Prime deals need a Prime membership on the account you’re checking out with, and if your office buys through an Amazon Business account, check that account’s price too, because it sometimes differs from the consumer page. And don’t buy networking gear or cameras from a brand you’ve never heard of just because it’s 60% off. More on that at the bottom.
Security keys and endpoint protection
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, so start here. The YubiKey 5C NFC was $58.00 on September 29, and it’s been sitting at exactly $58 since late July. That flat price is useful: any drop during the sale is a real one. It didn’t drop, though. On October 6 it was still $58.00. If you’ve been putting off phishing resistant MFA for the office, this is the cheapest it’s likely to get before year end. Our YubiKey 5 review covers which model to get, and the Microsoft passkeys post explains why it matters now that Entra is pushing passkeys by default.
Bitdefender GravityZone Small Business Security was $29.99 for a single device on Amazon on September 29 and $25.49 during Prime Big Deal Days (about 15% off). That listing is really for one machine (a home office, a sole proprietor). For a whole office the multi seat license from Bitdefender directly usually works out better, and our GravityZone review and the Malwarebytes Teams vs Bitdefender comparison walk through the per seat math.
Backup and storage
The Synology DS225+ was $364.99 on September 29, the same price it had held since August, and $310.24 during Prime Big Deal Days. That’s $54.75 off and the biggest dollar drop on this list. It’s the two bay box we’d put in a small office for local backups, and it’s the piece that makes a Microsoft 365 backup plan work without paying a cloud vendor forever. Drives are extra. Our Synology review covers the setup.
The Samsung T7 Shield 2TB is the one to watch closely. It was $499.99 on September 29, which is a lot more than it cost earlier this year (flash storage prices have climbed hard in 2026). It did not drop for Prime week. It was still $499.99 on October 6. If it dips later in the sale, grab one for the offsite backup rotation. Since it hasn’t moved, the 1TB version is usually enough for a small office’s weekly copy anyway.
Power, because hurricane season isn’t over

Season runs through November 30 and October storms happen here (Ian was a late September storm, and Wilma came through in late October). Three things to watch:
- CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD UPS, $227.95 on September 29 and still $227.95 on October 6, so no Prime discount. Pure sine wave, enough for a workstation and a monitor or a small network closet.
- APC BR1500MS2, $299.99 on September 29 and the same $299.99 during the sale. Same job, and some offices just want APC.
- EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus power station, $669.00 on September 29. On October 6 Amazon had no buy box for it (only other sellers), so I took the button down. It was $599 in late July and $699 in August, so check back after the sale. Under $600 would be a good buy.
If you can’t decide between a UPS, a power station, or both, read power station vs UPS first. The short version: the UPS keeps a computer alive long enough to shut down cleanly, and the power station keeps the internet and a laptop running for hours. Our UPS buying guide has the sizing details.
Desks and the meeting room
This is where Prime Day discounts tend to be biggest, because docks, mini PCs and monitors all get pushed hard during the sale.
The UGREEN DisplayLink dual monitor dock was $125.98 on September 29 (down from about $170 earlier in the month) and $119.67 during Prime Big Deal Days, so another $6.31 off. It’s the dock we reviewed for laptops that can’t drive two screens on their own. For desks that need a full computer, the Beelink Mini S13 was $348 and the GEEKOM A5 was $449 on September 29, and neither one dropped for Prime week (still $348 and $449 on October 6). Both are in our mini PC roundup. The Mobile Pixels Duex Plus portable monitor was $186.11 on September 29 against a $229.99 list, and it fell to $158.39 during Prime Big Deal Days ($27.72 off). Worth grabbing if you’ve got someone who works out of a truck or a client’s spare desk.
The Logitech MeetUp 2 was $899.00 on September 29 and still $899.00 on October 6, so no Prime discount on this one. Conference cameras rarely go on steep sale, so even $100 off later would be worth taking if your conference room still runs on a laptop webcam. The MeetUp 2 review explains who it’s for.
Shredders
The Fellowes AutoMax 100M was $263.62 on September 29 and went up to $269.00 for Prime week, so wait on that one. The Bonsaii 12 sheet micro cut was $93.49 and dropped to $88.81 during Prime Big Deal Days (it carries a Prime Big Deal badge, though $4.68 off isn’t much). If the office handles client files, the P-4 vs P-5 shredder guide will tell you which cut level you actually need before you buy.
What I’d skip, even at 60% off
No name WiFi routers, mesh kits and security cameras. They show up in every Prime sale with huge discounts, and a lot of them run on cloud apps nobody updates. When we searched Amazon for Ubiquiti’s newer cameras last month, the top results were lookalike knockoffs from another brand entirely. A router is the front door to the whole network, and a $40 savings isn’t worth an unpatched one. The same goes for “lifetime” antivirus licenses sold by third party sellers.
And if you’re shopping to replace old Windows 10 computers, look at refurbished business desktops too. They often beat Prime prices on new consumer PCs.
